PLAY ISLAND OR MAINLAND? →A simple yes/no format introduces physical geography without long explanations.
Island or Not? teaches a simple physical-geography distinction: an island country is surrounded by water and not connected to another country by a land border. Japan and Iceland are clear examples, while peninsular countries such as Italy or South Korea can look island-like at first glance.
Archipelagos also count as island countries even when they consist of many separate islands. The yes/no format is intentionally quick, making it useful as a bridge from basic country recognition into coastlines, borders and regional geography.
