About YAYTAP
YAYTAP is a free, no-login geography game collection built around a simple idea: geography is easier to remember when you meet the same place in different ways.
Maps that grow with the player
World Map is not meant to drop a beginner into the hardest possible map. It is arranged as a progression from very approachable early levels to broader, more demanding later ones. The same idea appears across continent maps, Taiwan cities and counties, and U.S. states: start where recognition feels possible, then move upward.
This makes the site useful for very different players. Someone new to geography can begin with familiar countries and visual matching, while an experienced player can move into difficult maps, country shapes, borders, population and world-fact questions.
Beginner-friendly ways in
Not every learner wants to start by memorizing a blank map. YAYTAP includes games that lower the entry barrier: Flag Memory lets players learn while matching cards; Flag Match supports visual recognition; early map levels focus on easier targets; short two-choice and image-based games give new players a way to succeed quickly.
Geography from everyday life
Countries are more than outlines. YAYTAP uses food, desserts, snacks, landmarks, animals, toys and capitals to connect geography with things people already see, eat, visit or talk about. A familiar dessert or snack can become the clue that helps a country stick in memory later.

Short rounds make it easy to start with one game, but the site is designed so one round can lead naturally to another. World Passport stamps and collection badges connect discoveries across maps, identity, culture, sights, nature and facts. When one format starts to feel repetitive, ALSO TRY can jump straight to another kind of geography game.
More than map drills
The library includes world and continent maps, Taiwan cities and counties, U.S. states, flags, capitals, country shapes, borders, population and size comparisons, animals, landmarks, foods, desserts, toys, snacks and playful geography “why?” questions. Daily 5 adds a short recurring challenge, while the five-country challenge lets someone choose a small custom set and share it.
Who is it for?
Students, teachers, tutors, families, travelers and curious adults can all start at different points. There is no single required route and no account needed for ordinary play. A beginner can stay with friendly recognition games; a confident player can chase harder maps and leaderboards.
