How to Play

YAYTAP has 34 short geography games. Start with a five-question beginner round, build confidence, then move into harder maps, faster recognition games and everyday geography from food, animals, snacks and landmarks.

The basic loop

  1. Pick a game. Beginner choices are marked clearly on the Games page.
  2. Play a short level. Most levels use five questions, so it is easy to play for a minute or use one round in class.
  3. Accuracy first, then speed. Higher scores rank first; when scores tie, faster time breaks the tie where the leaderboard supports timing.
  4. Enter a name if you make the leaderboard. No account is required. Different people sharing the same device can use different player names.
  5. Keep moving. Use NEXT LEVEL to continue the same game, or ALSO TRY to jump into a different geography game.

Flag Memory: a gentle way to begin

Flip cards to find matching country-and-flag pairs. You do not have to recall an answer from scratch: you learn by seeing, matching and remembering positions. That makes Flag Memory a useful first step before Flag Match or Flag Guess.
